One day, Matt came to me with the idea of beekeeping. As a farmer, he has a vested interest in their pollinating and a desire to help maintain healthy bee population in our area. As a huge fan of honey for cooking and utilizing beeswax for making salves, I was completely onboard with having access to our own supply!
We got our first hives Spring of 2016.
